Fitness Classes for Pregnancy and a Post-Baby Reboot!

We're glad to be adding classes this fall targeted to people who value a strong fitness routine that they can modify for the growing, changing pregnant body, or for a post baby reboot.  At Momentum Wellness and Learning, we seek to partner with community providers who offer professional services uniquely designed for growing families.  We seek out professionals who will encourage people to be their best selves, but also allow for the daily self-acceptance and modification required to "go with flow" in the sometimes tumultuous, unexpected changes of parenthood.  Push through a place of resistance to those changes, and celebrate the awesome, nurturing, providing parent you are, while getting support and encouragement from considerate, experienced professionals, like our community partner Jamie Ross!  We are so excited to be featuring new classes designed by Jamie that are perfect for people who want challenging fitness programming with the space to ask for appropriate modifications.  Here's what she has to say about her 3 upcoming class offerings!

I have always been fascinated by the amazing potential of the human body and how being physically strong and confident influences our emotional and mental wellbeing.  A woman’s body’s ability to adapt and change in order create and grow a baby is a fantastic feat that leaves me in awe!

Many women, however, struggle with the physical changes they experience during pregnancy, and the postpartum period, leaving them feeling less confident, less strong and generally unhappy with their bodies.  I believe that women deserve to feel supported in their quest to gain physical confidence.  I love being a part of the Momentum Wellness and Learning community where women are encouraged to celebrate their body’s amazing accomplishments and changes that happen while they are growing and caring for their families.

As a fitness trainer, birth doula and mental health counselor, I have the unique advantage of understanding the complicated layers of change that take place throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum experience. Through Momentum Wellness and Learning, I will be offering 3 different fitness classes this fall that are tailored to fit the different needs of your remarkable bodies.
