There are virtually no resources for a mom learning how to breastfeed. It is HARD and stressful. I cannot recommend Alisa enough. She gives every new mom the confidence we all need on this journey. Momentum Lactation saved my breastfeeding journey! I saw Alisa at the beginning of my journey and she helped getting the correct latch and a painless latch! When my child started sleeping through the night, my supply dwindled and I started to think our time was over. I don’t really know where to begin to tell anyone how wonderful and knowledgeable Alisa is. Alisa came and did two house call appointments because I’m a first time mom and exhausted and didn’t want to go anywhere. The first one was within the week I had my little one. She went through latching, how often to nurse, she did a weighted feed to see how much he was taking in, and even went through all things pumping for when the time came. She was very thorough.
The second visit I requested was a check with me a few months later. I needed some reassurance that I was still doing everything right. Once she came in, I instantly felt at ease and she helped me work through my thoughts again. She is quick to respond to calls/texts. Alisa is the real deal. My insurance paid for almost the whole visit each time. I didn’t even know that my insurance would cover it until she told me. Check with your insurance or save some money if you can and at least get one visit with her. You will not regret it. Thank you, Alisa!

I signed up for the Newborn 411 and Breastfeeding Course. My instructor, Kate, really helped me feel more prepared and less scared for this new season of life as a first time mom. The course was inclusive of partners as well, which I loved. There is so much information out there and Momentum offered some great resources and training. I was able to ask all the questions I had and get some great answers. Signing up is a must-do for new moms and dads!
